The Coast to Coast is a thru-hike created by Wainwright. It connects his favorite trails together. With a distance of 300 km and an elevation gain of ~8800 m, it’s an excellent hike to fit in a 2,5-week vacation. The route starts in St. Bees and crosses the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and the North York Moors and finishes in Robin Hoods Bay.
